Travel Diary Entry#4

5:20 a.m.

This is my second time to fly at night! And it is such a marvelous experience!

The stars were brighter and were like diamonds covering Heaven’s walls, gleaming brightly in the velvet darkness, while beneath us is a carpet of clouds glowing in silver luminosity by the moonshine, which is nearlyl in its fullest form. It was so beautiful! I’ve never seen anything like it! It was ‘harmony’ personified… a glimpse of the face of a peaceful, and beautiful God.

From a distance lighting can be seen exploding behind veils of clouds by milliseconds. That too was beautiful! I watched with both fear and fascination.

Beauty, beauty, beauty! Is it always in lofty places?

Funny, but as I was watching the stars and clouds and the lightning in all it’s Creator’s glory, I caught myself chanting this repeatedly, “Second star to the right! Second star to the right!”

I stopped dead in my tracks. What was I thinking?

But as I probed my head for a connection, I realized that catching myself thinking of something seemingly irrelevant, eventually leads me to find that there is in fact a relation to all my present thoughts. 😉
