Mural Nearly Done

Over the weekend, I finally drew and painted our school’s mural. Our principal had asked me in December of last year to do it, and I felt quite flattered that she had entrusted me with the task instead of other Art teacher, who is a self-proclaimed artist.

I came up with two designs and then I asked the students to help me pick which drawing will best grace our wall. They voted for their favorite drawing and the one with the most votes is now a mural.

Thankfully, there are wonderful people from the staff who helped me set-up and paint. It’s my first time to paint a mural, and I am just thrilled with the feedback I had received from fellow teachers and students. It is not quite through yet, but it’s very nearly there.
