This Year’s Painting I’m Proud Of
I made this painting for a co-teacher who commissioned me to paint his nephew climbing Cambodia’s Angkor Wat with a monkey. It took plenty of research, study, and imagination to finally be able to paint this angle of Angkor Wat. It’s one of the most challenging pieces I had to do (under time constraints too), and although it may not be a very accurate picture of the Angkor Wat, I take pride in finally using architecture in my work. Not a first, but definitely a beginning of many more to come.
